Challenge #95-"A Birthday Card"

I really don't make as many birthday cards as I should so I thought this challenge would help me get ahead a little. this week.  The Design Team is anxious to see what you make.  Your birthday card can be serious or funny; it can be for a man, woman or child.  It is up to you.

I love this cute birthday cake image from Stitchey Bear Outlet.  I placed it on som e dotted designer paper after coloring it with Copic marker.  A big bow finishes the card.

A birthday card challenge is always timely -- good to have plenty of them made and ready.  Our design team is once again working with images by Stitchy Bear and I've used two digital images this week, a birthday cake and a "boo boo bear."  I digitally arranged the bear and cake on a digital background by itKuPiLLi -- the Primavera series.  The "for you" sentiment is a digital image I added from Clear Dollar Stamps.  This creation is 100% digital -- I even did the coloring in Photoshop and at present this card only exists in my computer!  But when the moment comes i'll be able to print it, adhere it to cardstock and it will be ready to go.

For the first week of "A birthday card", I made a card using an image from our sponsor Stitchy Bear and it is Bonnet Day  .It is adorable! I layered it onto a texturized card stock and adorned it with some pearls, a purple flower and a sentiment. I hope you continue playing along with us. Have a magical week!

For this card I used the Stitchy Bear 'four iron' image kindly supplied by the sponsor, colouring with spectrum noir pens, cutting around and mounting on to a piece of golf paper. All papers used were from my offcuts box, the larger argyll pattern was from Guy's Life. The silver embossed strip is a snippet of some originally created with an embossing folder run through the eBosser

Week 1 of the challenge I used this great golf image from Stitchy Stqamps, I used a lot of scraps out of my scrap box, even the base was in there. I coloured with copics and added the Happy Birthday.  g and some baker's twine

My challenge is graciously being sponsored by Stitchey Bear Outlet
